There’s nothing worse than waiting for a flight in a crowded terminal, surrounded by noise, overpriced sandwiches, and a hectic atmosphere that leaves you feeling drained before you even board. That’s why it always pays to check if there’s a lounge you can access, even if you’re not flying business class.

At Melbourne International Airport, there are several paid lounges available to all travelers, no elite status or special membership needed. These spaces offer a quiet place to unwind, enjoy a proper meal, take a hot shower, or even get some work done before your flight.

While I haven’t personally visited these lounges (yet!), here are a few pro tips when deciding which one is right for you:

  1. Look beyond the branding, compare what each lounge actually offers for the price.
  2. Read up on recent reviews and Youtube Videos to get a sense of real customer experiences.
  3. Don’t forget to compare booking platforms like the lounge’s own site and deal sites like Klook (use my Promo code for up to 10% off TRIPDEALSDANKLOOK at the checkout) , where you might find exclusive discounts or promo codes.
  4. Check the operating ours and the Terminals.
  5. Check in to your flight early to guarantee you get as much value and time at the lounge you have selected.

Now, here are three open-access lounges at Melbourne Airport that you can book and enjoy before your next international flight.

It’s always important to make sure the lounges you choose are in the terminal you’ll be departing from and ideally close to your gate. Also, double-check the lounge’s operating hours to ensure you have enough time to enjoy it before your flight.
