About ANA
ANA is Japan's largest airline and a Star Alliance member. The international long haul product is very good, but the reason most travellers end up on it is the domestic network: getting from Tokyo to Sapporo, Fukuoka or Okinawa is far quicker by air than by train, and ANA covers all of it.
Service is quietly efficient in the way Japanese carriers tend to be. Baggage allowances on international fares are generous, and domestic flights booked as part of an international itinerary can be very cheap through special fares for overseas visitors.

Haneda or Narita?
Haneda is much closer to central Tokyo and generally the better arrival airport. Narita is further out but serves plenty of long haul routes. Check which one your ticket uses, especially if you have a connection.
Are the visitor domestic fares real?
Yes, several Japanese carriers offer discounted domestic fares to travellers holding an international ticket. Conditions apply and they must usually be booked in advance.
